The All-India Senior Choice Committee, on Saturday (October 8) introduced the ace all-rounder Washington Sundar as alternative for Deepak Chahar for the rest of the ODI collection towards South Africa.
Notably, Chahar had a stiffness in his again after the third and ultimate T20I towards South Africa in Indore and therefore didn’t participate within the first ODI match towards South Africa in Lucknow. The 30-year-old will now head again to the Nationwide Cricket Academy (NCA) for rehabilitation and will likely be carefully monitored by the Medical Workforce there.

Mr Chahar had stiffness in his again after the third and ultimate T20I towards South Africa in Indore and didn’t characteristic in India’s Taking part in XI within the first ODI in Lucknow,” BCCI wrote in its assertion.
Workforce India misplaced the collection opener towards South Africa by 9 runs and is trailing by 0-1. The Ken in Blue are all set to play the second ODI in Ranchi on October 9, 2022 and can play the ultimate ODI of the collection in New Delhi on October 11, 2022.
