With the support he is getting from management it will be difficult to score 30 centuries
In his prime years also virat gave opening slot to others because he thought of team first ,
Virat is the best in his generation…but we never know when he will hang his boots. He has almost achieved everything in his career except the t20 world cup. As long as he has the hunger for runs he'll continue to play and another 30 centuries from this point of his career won't be easy.
Even i am a king kohli fan but he might end at around 85+ centuries and 30k+ runs overall, so 2nd in both list( most runs and most centuries). Because virat is going to turn 34 in 2 months and he will play mostly tests after 2023 ( as we have less odis in the FTP cycle of 2023 to 2027), but if he continues this form and plays like what he used to do in 2016 to 2019 then i might be wrong and he might pass god of cricket.

Ponting, anwar, kallis, cook, root ,kohli all these players tried to break sachin record but they can't because the skill of sachin is 2 levels ahead of all the above..
I think that if the jinx of 71 was the only one and no more from here then Virat can catch Sachin's 100 centuries record but for that he will have to keep playing both test and odi cricket for at least another 5 years.Scoring 100s in tests is not that easy so Odi will be the best format for him to score centuries consistently.
He will easily break Ponting's record but breaking Tendulkar 100 century records is quite a tough job. Honestly i don't think so, he will break Tendulkar's record.

No one can break sachin International Runs Record 34000 (also at that time there were more test matches No T20) so chances were high to score 100 but still i believe one can only compare 2 persons who are playing together in same era! as parameters might be debatable (from pitches to bowlers to everything) in any sport! i mean Pele won world cup doesnt mean he is better than ronaldo & messi
